Oh My God! What a book!

Rebecca Yarros’ Fourth Wing is a new fantasy series that takes readers into the intense and competitive world of Basgiath War College, where cadets train to become dragon riders.

A Court of Silver Flames is the fifth edition to the ACOTAR series and this time delves into Nesta’s trauma and personal growth. it was a slog for me similarly to the first ACOTAR book.

As much as I’ve enjoyed the ACOTAR series, A Court of Frost and Starlight fell flat for me. While it offers a glimpse into the characters' lives after the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin, it feels more like a lengthy diary entry rather than a novella with its own compelling narrative.

Building on the momentum of A Court of Mist and Fury, A Court of Wings and Ruinis a natural progression that maintains the emotional depth, rich characterisation, and high-stakes drama the series has become known for.

After a slow start with A Court of Thorns and Roses, I wasn’t sure what to expect from its sequel, but everyone I knew who had read it had told me to keep going. And I’m so glad they did because A Court of Mist and Furyabsolutely blew me away. This book is a major step up in every sense—character development, plot complexity, and emotional depth. It’s as if the series found its true voice and soared to new heights.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas had been on my radar for quite some time, and while I’d heard great things about it, my reading experience didn’t quite match the hype.
